He Will Be Called

Isaiah has just prophesied that Israel is about to be swept into captivi- ty by Assyria. Israel has had a long history of being ruled by foreign, oppressive kings. Isaiah then prophesies that the oppression will be removed and replaced by a new king to come. That king is Jesus, who will be unlike any other King they have known.
